ولد عام 1952/ الاسم الفني: روضان/ دكتوراه تصميم طباعي من كلية الفنون الجميلة/ جامعة بغداد 1998 بتقدير امتياز/ ونال مرتبة الأستاذية في 2004/ يعمل في وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، جامعة بغداد ــ كلية الفنون الجميلة منذ سنة 1990/ تولى رئاسة قسم الخط العربي والزخرفة في كلية الفنون الجميلة، وكذلك قسم التصميم لسنوات عديدة/ رئيس جمعية الخطاطين العراقيين/ تشرف بخط المصحف الشريف بخطي الثلث والنسخ بتكليف من مؤسسة رمزي للتصميم والطباعة في لندن/ أشرف على (40) بحثا لطلبة الدراسات العليا، منها أطاريح دكتوراه عدد (9) ورسائل ماجستير عدد (31)/ عضو هيأة تحكيم المسابقة الدولية لفن الخط والتي يقيمها مركز الأبحاث للتاريخ والفنون والثقافة الإسلامية (ircica) في استانبول/ عضو لجنة تحكيم ملتقى رمضان لخط القرآن الكريم الذي تقيمه وزارة الثقافة وتنمية المعرفة في دبي منذ انطلاقته سنة 2009 واستمرارا لكل الدورات اللاحقة/ حصل على 18 جائزة دولية ومحلية منها جائزة الابداع لمرتين من وزارة الثقافة العراقية ، وللمرة الثالثة في العام 2018.
born in 1952 /Technical name: Roudhan/ PhD in Graphic Design from the College of Fine Arts / University of Baghdad 1998 with distinction grade. And won the rank of professor on 2004/ He works in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / University of Baghdad – College of Fine Arts since 1990/ Headed the Department of Arabic Calligraphy and Islamic Ornaments at the Faculty of Fine Arts, as well as the Design Department for many years/ President of the Iraqi Calligraphers Association/ Supervises the Holy Qur’an script with two-thirds and copies, commissioned by the Ramzi Design and Printing Foundation in London/ Supervised (40) papers for postgraduate students, including (9) doctoral theses and (31) master’s theses/ Member of the Arbitration Board of the International Calligraphy Competition held by the Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture (ircica) in Istanbul/ Member of the jury of the Ramadan Forum for the Holy Qur’an Script, which is being held by the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development in Dubai since its inception in 2009 and in continuation of all subsequent sessions/ Received 18 international and local awards, including the two-time creativity award from the Iraqi Ministry of Culture, and for the third time in 2018.
